We breed and sell Appaloosa, Paso Fino and occasional Jennet crosses to recreate horses of the Americas.

Our goals at Shining Star Horses are to start with quality bloodlines, excellent confirmation, willing dispositions, and good minds in our mares and stallions. With this solid foundation to build upon we expect to see even better progeny. We believe in imprinting foals, following up with respect training and gentle handling in as natural a setting as we can provide. By starting with this criteria we expect to create mutual trust for you and your future riding companions. Genetics and selective breeding contributing balanced bodies and minds that will go the distance in appointed tasks. We are breeding specifically for quality pleasure, trail and endurance horses that balance: with deep chests, defined muscle, strong loins, shoulders and hips as well as proportioned legs and hoofs with a goal of structural soundness in mind. Continue to give them proper nutrition, love and time to mature without overworking and they should give you a high caliber companion.
